I'm really not much of a fan of the forest style or Demon Tea. I think alot of that sound was inspired by early Texas Faggot anyway, I'm really not that into the first albums either.
I think that review is a bit misleading as far as dark psy goes. There really is nothing dark psy about Texas Faggot to me. If anything they have a more old school sound since they actually use melodies and song structure.
This album is great, hopefully they get a wider following with this as it just has less "disco music for a mental asylum" type tracks that previous albums.
I don't think they can ever top Paramoncler from the last album. Thats probly one of the best psy tracks I've ever heard.
